Individual therapy is a one-on-one 50 minute session. I offer individual sessions from ages 3-100. I look forward to meeting you and providing a safe place to discuss, feel, and heal at your own pace.

Play Therapy
Play therapy uses play as a means of communication and expression for children. It is a research-based approach that is designed to help children work through emotional, behavioral, and social difficulties. Play therapy is typically used best for children ages 3-12, but can also be used with adolescents and adults.
ā
The play therapist works to create a safe and nurturing environment for the child to explore and express their feelings through play. These sessions will take place in a playroom that is equipped with toys, art supplies, and other materials that can facilitate creative expression. The therapist will observe the child's play and use techniques to help the child process emotions and experiences. This can include using puppets, sand tray therapy, art therapy, storytelling, and other forms of play that encourage emotional expression.
ā
The goal of play therapy is to help your children develop emotion regulation, coping skills, and social skills. Through the safe environment, play therapy can help your child build resilience, increase self-esteem, and improve overall well-being. Play therapy is beneficial for a range of issues like anxiety, depression, trauma, autism and ADHD, behavioral issues, and family conflict.

Couples Therapy
Couples therapy is a form of therapy that focuses on improving a relationship between two people. The goal is to really help couples understand each other and their conflicts, communicate more effectively, and build an all around stronger and healthier relationship. Through the help of the therapist, a couple will identify underlying issues in the relationship and find ways to address and resolve the problems.
ā
Couples therapy can be very helpful for partnerships that are struggling with communication, trust issues, infidelity, parenting and family conflicts, disconnection, codependency, and more. With the guidance of the therapist, couples can learn to improve their relationship and build a stronger, more fulfilling partnership. Every relationship has problems and every relationship takes work. Let's work together to create a partnership that is fulfilling for both parties.
ā
In couples therapy, we will work as a team to identify goals and plans to achieve these goals. We will gather information and determine both strengths and weaknesses in the partnership and will come up with plans to improve overall connection and communication.
