ABOUT ME
I am a bilingual (Spanish) Licensed Clinical Social Worker Supervisor (LCSW-S) and owner of Feeling and Healing Counseling, located in Lewisville, Texas. I specialize in working with children as young as 3 years old, teenagers, young adults, and families through individual, couples, and family counseling services.
I primarily work with children and teens struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, behavioral concerns, relationship challenges, trauma, and self-esteem difficulties. Using play therapy, EMDR, and other developmentally appropriate approaches, I help clients better understand their emotions, build practical coping skills, and navigate challenges with greater confidence.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree from Utah Valley University in 2020 and my Master’s degree from the University of Utah in 2021. Since entering the field in 2019, I have worked with a variety of populations and remain passionate about creating a supportive environment where clients feel understood, comfortable, and empowered throughout the therapy process.
I am passionate about helping clients better understand what they are feeling while learning practical skills to navigate challenges both inside and outside of therapy. Using play, art, humor, honesty, and connection, I strive to create a space where clients feel supported, comfortable, and able to talk about the hard stuff.
I believe therapy works best when clients feel safe, have autonomy in the process, and are empowered to trust themselves. My goal is not only to help clients cope with challenges but also to help them build confidence, strengthen relationships, and better understand themselves.
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time outside with my family and staying active. You can usually find me working out, reading, playing card games, or walking my dog. I look forward to using both my professional training and real-life experiences to support clients through whatever stage of life they are navigating.
